Dear All,
Hi! I am very happy to announce that this year R10 WIE VEEP Fund proposals has been reviewed and evaluated finally. Considering the projects objectives, impacts as well as the budget plans, the R10 WIE committee have selected 5 proposals out of 20 submissions to fund, although all the submissions are very good activities under proper design and preparation to benefit our members.
The following 5 proposals will be finally supported for R10 WIE VEEP Fund:
1. IEEE Victorian Section
“IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP) 2018—WIE Presentation”, for USD400 funding support.
2. IEEE Seoul Section
“TENCON 2018 WIE Special Session: Women Engineers’ Activities and Successful life”, for USD400 funding support.
3. IEEE Hyderabad Section
“Women in Robotics”, for USD400 funding support
4. IEEE Gujarat Section
“Programming Competition for Girls”, for USD400 funding support.
5. IEEE Bangladesh Section
“IEEE WIE International Leadership Summit (ILS 2018)” for USD400 funding support.

Please note the R10 WIE VEEP Fund is aim to enhance the WIE visibility, especially for female engineers, to enhance networking and knowledge sharing of them in IEEE Global and R10 flagship events. Also, the IEEE R10 section funds matching policy will be applied when the fund is allocated by our R10 treasure. Please also note the report of the event should be submitted no later than the end of November 2018.

For these proposals not receiving the R10 WIE VEEP fund this time,R10 WIE would like to encourage your activities to be carried out and to seek support from local section, IEEE WIE and other sources. Please keep in active and organizing beneficial activities to our members!
