Dear R10 WIE members,
It is to inform you all that the first teleconference of IEEE R10 WIE volunteer committee 2014-15 was held on 18th September, 2014. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Takako Hashimoto, Coordinator, IEEE R10 WIE. Among other members of R10 WIE volunteer committee, Representative: Ms. Amanthi Ratnayake, Webmaster: Dr. Celia Shahnaz, Information Manager: Dr. Vijayalatha, Deputy Information Manager: Ms. Rohma Khalid, Promotion Manager: Ms. Rabail Raza, and Analysis Manager: Ms. Sowmya reddy participated in the teleconference.
In the meeting, Dr. Takako Hashimoto, congratulated everyone for being a part of the R10 WIE Volunteer committee 2014-15. On her request, each volunteer introduced themselves and highlighted their past and present contributions to IEEE and WIE. Dr. Takako Hashimoto explained to all the role of different members holding the positions, namely Representative, Webmaster , Information Manager, Promotion Manager and Analysis Manager. She also emphasized on arranging such a teleconference, which is a significant WIE activity. There was a brief but impressive question-answer session.
No other agenda to be discussed, the meeting was concluded with thanks from Dr. Takako Hashimoto. She wished continued outstanding success in implementing, updating, informing, promoting and analyzing WIE activities in R10.
